Book Review: Mobile Home Park 10/20 Investment System

(Note: Recently, I’ve had a lot of folks contact me asking what the difference between some of Lonnie’s as well as other mobile home investing materials out there and which one I’d recommend the most. So, I’ve decided to go ahead and start a new series of posts – book reviews.)

With the amount of people interested in mobile home park investing, I decided to pick this book up.

To be honest, I’ve had this book sitting on my shelf for quite some time. It’s one of those books where you read a little at a time, soak in the material, and come back to. It’s not one to read all in one sitting.

Basically, the book is a series of case studies of the authors’ experiences buying and selling mobile home parks. Each case study is a quick read that includes the pros and cons of each deal as well as the obstacles encountered along the way. At the end of the book are additional case studies of mobile home parks that were not bought citing reasons why each deal was passed.

Overall, the book is a series of parables of lessons learned. It is not a guide showing you exactly how to buy and sell mobile home parks. There are no forms at the end; no example paperwork. Though, it does make for some interesting reading and insight into the mobile home park investing business.

Who should buy this book?

If you have experience with mobile home investing and the desire to invest in mobile home parks, then it may be something to look into. Though, if you do not I would suggest otherwise. Why?

Here’s a post where I talk about the advice given to me by other mobile home park investors.

I hope you enjoyed reading this book review. With the high amount of requests for my opinions on these, it’s something that I’ve decided to start doing from time to time.

Happy investing!
