Getting Back to What’s Important
So, it’s been awhile since I’ve really written here. I’ll be honest: I’ve been busy. Really busy.
Recently, I attended a business conference. It’s been years since I’ve gone to one. As in any event, there were workshops and networking opportunities. It was great to be among professionals again. I even had a chance to speak on stage. All in all, it was a new experience. But one that took time.
Coming back, I’ve hit reality. It’s time to get back to business. As mentioned here, I’m still working on a few homes to fix up. And, I need to get them done. And filled.
Working with contractors is no easy task. But one that must be implemented as a long-term investor. So, I’m back to managing them continuing the work needed to get these homes ready on the market.
(Note: For anyone interested, I recently wrote a book on the subject. Thanks for reading!)
I’ve got a lot of pictures and footage on the projects. So, I’ll probably share them with you sometime down the road.
Getting things back into perspective, I’ve realized the most important thing: family. The people who are there with you day in and day out (despite me being a workaholic). Though I spent time at the conference, I’m glad my family was right there with me.
(Note: I talk more about my personal life and how it’s affected my real estate investing business in this book. Thanks for reading!)
Life is too short. We only have so much time to spend on this earth. Make it count. And remember those who are there with you every single day.
Thanks for reading. Will get back to posting new content up. Also, I have a new book coming out soon. Stay tuned! 🙂
