What I’ve Been Up To: Back to Work
Well, it’s my favorite time of the year for mobile home investing – the fall and winter season. And, let me just say – I’m ready for it!
It seems like summer flew by! Though, I did have a relaxing vacation just doing the things I enjoy. Personally, I had a great time! But, now it’s time to get back to work.
So, I’m back into acquisition mode and have been busy working in the trenches. My latest addition has been this one here:
(Note: For those interested in hearing the details, I’ll be doing a case study on this one down the road).
In the meantime, I also have some news to share. My articles have started appearing in the Real Estate Investor Association (REIA) newsletters. The latest one can be found here.
Also, I was recently interviewed here:
Thank you everyone for your support, here’s to another great year!

Hi Rachel,
Glad to hear you’re back. I’m curious why you love the fall and winter times best for investing in mobile homes? My results have always been in the Spring and Summer times. I would love to hear your thoughts.
Best,
John Fedro
Thanks for the welcome back John, good question!
For me personally, it’s just my preference to work hard during the fall and winter months – I treat it as a school year. Then, in the spring and summer months things start winding down for vacation time.
I know most folks hear about spring and summer being the time for homes to be put on the market for both sellers and buyers. Though, the opposite tends to work for me just as well. Thanks for stopping by!
You have inspired me and it took me a while to get into this and actually do it. I have purchased 2 homes within 4 months and I am loving it. I have always wanted to be in real estate and I think this is a good beginning for me. I will definitely subscribe and thanks for all the tips of the trade!
Great to hear your progress, thanks for stopping by!
p.s. Catchy name, very cool! 🙂
